Family Holiday || Self Care || Mount Isa Photographer

Time for a little personal share. Why not? You see the more you know about me will help you to decide if I am the right fit for you and your family right? I believe it is really important to know your photographer. They are going to get up close and personal with you in order to capture you, the real you and with that said, you need to feel at ease.

So, here is a little insight into our lives. We lead quite busy day to day lives just like most people these days. Lee runs his own Plumbing business and I am the bookkeeper for him and I have this beautiful business, Vida Images. We have five amazing children and from time to time need to take a little break and indulge in some self care practice.

These are just a handful of snaps from our recent getaway to Cairns and Townsville. We drove the entire way with our crew in tow, minus Dylan. This was also our first holiday without him which was bittersweet as there are so many times Lee and I looked at each other and said 'Wow, Dyl would have loved this'. We played a lot of eyespy and now know our music playlists inside out. The girls experienced a long list of firsts, escalator rides, train trips, a ride on a skyrail, a rainforest walk, visits to art galleries, aquariums, waterfalls, mocktails and so on!

Our future writer Quinn, journaled every day and wrote so many details about this holiday. She also took polaroid shots and glued them throughout her leatherbound journal.. Something I will make sure stays safe so she can look back on for years to come.

We caught up with friends we have had for over two decades and spent some time with my Grandparents which was lovely. After the two weeks were up, our bellies were full and our minds and bodies rested and we were happy to come back to our home.

Enjoy x

And yes! Before you say it, I know! I'm not in any of the photo's. Lee has told me I need to relinquish some control and teach him how to use my camera - watch this space......
