There are things that we do in life for other people not because we feel we should, or that we have to, but because we genuinely want to. That is how these images came about. I have watched this family from the sideline for the last 10 months live through something that seems just so unfair and have asked myself countless times what could I do to help.
Then it dawned on me. Memories. Give them memories that last a lifetime. One's they can hold on to and cherish. Memories that move them.
We all know how I do love to tell a story. And, I am quite partial to the long winded novel from time to time. Today is not one of these times. This time I am going to allow the images to tell the story. Every photo you see below was taken with intention. This session brought me to tears. For real. Moments in this session made a lump form in my throat and tears flow. It moved me. Reminded me yet again that I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing. And that life is precious, it's a gift we need to be grateful for. This family is a pillar of strength, a bundle of love and they laugh and giggle through it all.
I feel blessed to have met you guys - and so honoured you have allowed me in - and will continue to follow your story xxxx
